Have we become so overcome by ego-mind’s takeover,
That we’re like stunned victims of a hit-and-run?
Is our situation truly so dire,
That we only imagine we’re awake and need a dream to feel real?
The good news is that, dreaming or awake, we’re all in the same boat,
Pursuing or pursued by awakening’s urge to awaken through us.
