When remembering the Beloved/True Self, the dust cloud (impressions) obscuring our sight drops away. But there's a catch: holding this focus while in heart/mind's stillness, without preconditions or afterthoughts. Then the firm sense of who we think we are gets dislodged.
Such remembrance springs from inner confidence only spirit provides. It naturally flows from exposure to the radiance of awakening's work.
Then ego-mind's no longer the centerpiece of experience. The familiar echoes of its noise are suddenly missing. Like errant homing pigeons they no longer return to prop up conditioned mind. Where would they go but the vast reservoir of awakening's workings?
Whatever is relinquished in this way cuts our 'dust cloud' down to size. Whether whittled away or recycled it's awakening's intelligence at work.
This alchemy creates a deep assurance: nothing matters more than this giving and receiving, love's exchange in our inner garden.
