I've talked about cycles of awakening, sea change times when our Inner Ocean rains its grace. The upshot: less needless chaos and suffering; more chance for inner growth. It's like a bull market in stocks when a rising tide raises all boats (of course some still go down).

This collective gift doesn't displace preparedness or yearning; one's readiness still matters.

Waking from the prison cell of illusion is always an individual matter. It can occur any time, cycles or not. But why ignore the offer of an added boost?

Has awakening occurred on a large scale? Is there a social trend, a watershed event? It doesn't appear so--------where are its fruits? But the seeds may be present and even now sensing the pull to awakening. Are not more feeling this attraction from a depth beyond the increasing turbulence?

What if the present chaos is just a Grand Setup, a preparation for a pendulum reversal?  If so we are in the midst of a last desperate surge of illusion.

Could our silent Awakening Self have already rewired our psychic makeup? If so the seeds of awakening have already sprouted; are silently reaching from our hearts' depths to the surface of our minds.

Awakening can be questioned, but there can also be inner certainty about it. That certainty of recognition comes about through our link with spirit. With that connection even the slightest spark is illuminating.

And sparks can sputter........ rather our connection with spirit can. Often we can honestly say "the recognition, the certainty is there, but I am not." We may be seeing darkness while feeling the light within it.

Yet to feel light within darkness is a great thing. This feeling attracts and collects new kinds of experiences. These will kindle ever-new sparks that reflect the ever-alive light of the Beloved Within.

How is awakening our "real common domain?"

One viewpoint: that it is an inevitable event for us all, that this is simply a matter of time and life-times. This event would be like a grand earthquake that levels the entire playing field of consciousness....and the one of the many becomes the One in its Unity State.

Another viewpoint: that awakening is like a series of tremors, a process of preparations. The starting point would be anywhere, because everything is part of the same big picture. This is a process common to us all. This is an activity we are all involved with whether consciously or unconsciously.

Both viewpoints about awakening apply to us. We are all in the same boat, the same domain.  Whatever we seek and desire is a reflection, no mater how distorted, of that Oneness that finally, or suddenly, becomes our True Common Domain.
