Haven't we had enough of schoolbooks,
Teaching us what we think we know?
Isn't it time to learn self-forgetfulness and Self-remembrance,
Regardless of one's absence to the ever-present Presence?
Time to sense the constant action of the Beloved's mercy,
That moment by moment erodes who or what I think I am.
Time to be divested of gain and loss,
Opening to mystery beyond the veil of our nothingness.
