Waking to what we might be can seem daunting,
But to whom but a fearful mind?
What's our awakening-self's task,
But to thread its way through mind's minefields?
Better to dismiss all concerns and worries,
Though, to be truly unfazed, forgetfulness of self works best.
Finally, any task can become heart's precious gift,
With the discovery of the Beloved's ever-present proximity.
