You referred to Unconscious Self and Conscious Self in our last talk and that we stand in-between.
Right...our core, inner self or transitional self, is what feels the urge to awaken to Conscious Self.
So this core is distinct from our ego-mind?
Well the ego-mind can also be called our personality or outer self and may or may not become the expression of this awakening urge. Meaning it can be an asset or a roadblock.
I guess roadblock is the usual case.
This ego-mind usually runs amuck, derailed and off-center most of the time. When eventually on track, it can become of real service to others. Then its defenses are no longer needed and it no longer triggers defensive reflexes in others, allowing our hectic minds to calm down. This opens the door to inner silence and invites awakening's presence.
