It's easy to feel unprepared for awakening,
Could it be that we feel it's all up to us?
Yet a preparation could be constantly at work in us,
Regardless of what we might sense or know.
None of this may seem evident to ego-mind's eyes,
But why value such tampered evidence?
For with even the slightest whiff of awakening's fragrance,
All objections could easily be thrown by the wayside.
