When ego-mind assumes spiritual beliefs, we get blind faith,
Though it's altogether out of touch with awakening's inner workings.
Best to let this dream-self do its job without such dabbling,
In which case, keeping it in the dark isn't a bad idea.
But there's another faith, a recognition, that's blind to imagination's control,
Where our transitional-self experiences only what promotes closeness to the Beloved.
It starts experiencing our core self awakening to glimmers of Self,
And feels relieved about ego-mind's blindness to this new sense of life.
