When has one ventured beyond ego-mind's smokescreen?
- Any description of that atmosphere has serious shortcomings. There's no checklist, rather a changing flow, constant freshness. What's absent is conditioned mind's clutter; what's missing is a closed heart.
- A major trait of 'that place' is recognition's certainty that arrives only when we've arrived. This is anathema to ego-mind's logic but what to do?
- Self-delusions about being there get uncovered soon enough. Sometime that's the price of admission leaving one less ego-mind ploy in place.
- Doubts and questions are stilled, replaced by recognition and trust. Then there's compassion for the constant questioner in us.
Worry about these matters just slams the door to deeper seeing.
Better to relax the mind, humoring its expected reactions. After all its usual state is self-deceptive, self-hypnotic; sleeping and dreaming while thinking it's fully awake.
Opening the heart banishes fears of further delusions, validates and encourages our journey of discovery. (see pt.1)
