bridging the gap

Is there a point of contact between the illusory and the Real? If so where and what is it? From the illusion side of the fence this point seems invisible. It's like a gap that can't be measured but can be felt by a heart that doesn't bother with measuring.

This response of the heart is what bridges the gap. It doesn't bother with limits or worries....it just goes on bridge-building by relinquishing its claims to anything. It gives up whatever it knows or feels. It gives up whatever has brought it to this gap.

In giving up, the heart's knowing connects this world's passing parade to the Real.......it surrenders all to Real Self, to the Beloved within.

credible sources

These posts are original material, but not based on any spiritual "expertise" on my part. If asked what my credentials were I would say none in particular! I have simply re-configured what I have absorbed, pondered, and wondered about.

You will notice the lack of links to sources and resources. Why is that? To emphasize the Inner Resource that each one can link with; to underline that each of us actually can recognize and do this in their own way.

I believe we are all more able to immediately grasp what is behind the scenes......the ability to "get it" keeps getting ratcheted up......a kind of shortcutting of the usual mental hurdles. Mind is fast, almost instantaneous, but awakening is immediate.

And how could it not be? When the Awakening One, the Awakening Oneness, is constantly attracting us, pulling us, what other outcome could there be?

humpty dumpty (part 1)

The Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme reminds me of our inner resistance to change, to acceptance, to transformation. Could it be that Humpty Dumpty is just afraid of change? Could he be hiding his own connection with spirit from himself?

If we allow our "old selves" to be dismantled and we are confident of a positive outcome then there is......a real opportunity. Dismantled means just to let things fall apart so they can be re-arranged more creatively.

This is the "adaptive mechanism" of spirit in action. It is the phoenix rising on whatever level we can let this happen. Finally it is becoming more human, more alive and more awake. It is accepting that the gift of Awakening Self is ever-present. (also see Humpty D. part 2)

full mind/empty mind

If mind is too full, heart can be too empty. If mind empties, heart can fill. How will mind react seeing the emptiness of things, of its desires? How much of this can it take? What's the right dosage?

If the dose is too small we may feel discontented or depressed. If too large we may be overwhelmed, stunned.

If just right we can disburden ourselves of useless baggage and start to feel the heart's glow awakening. Awakening to what? To the inner call of our Awakening Spirit that calls each of us toward each unique pathway...

It's that Same Awakening One in all that creates in each a sense of deep repose, of wanting and lacking nothing; that creates in each a sense of dynamic joy in life, as if seeking everything, as if fully pursuing everything.
