Awakening sense

rescind it, don't resent it

Some may resent it when talk of awakening, a consciousness-breakthrough, is imbued with references to the heart. Some may equate the heart with emotionalism and irrationality; they may be seeking a more clear and peaceful approach to Truth. But in fact without the heart's particular fuel little can be done, for it supplies the motive force for the awakening process----that irresistible pull (or push).

"Emotionalism" is mixing the heart's energy with an unclear mind, creating turbulence and confusion. In itself the heart is a pure awakening power----fusion power---and holds the key to real knowledge.

This knowledge symbolized by Sophia, wisdom's namesake, has a sweetness to it. In the clear knowing of the heart lies the fusion of the paths of knowledge and devotion-longing-love. The deeper levels of the heart's silence have nothing to do with exuberant displays and help support the mind's poise in the midst of any chaos.

guidance as a gravity system

Being drawn to the Oneness of the Beloved: the pull, the gravity of this attraction is itself the most pervasive form of guidance.

Through this guidance the superstructure of our falseness is dismantled.....How? Mainly by proximity to the silent flame of Living Truth that melts the ice of ignorance. From this can spring inspiration and a heart-knowing about where and how to proceed in our lives.

The "ice age" of ignorance, of darkness is eliminated according to the degree of our surrenderance. Surrendering what?----our self-imposed limits, our resistance to the pull of Awakening Truth.

Remembrance of the Beloved One in itself provides guidance. The act of remembrance activates that core part of ourselves that is drawn toward awakening. Simply being in that inner place becomes the guidance that leads to the Real------what more can we ask for?

Then the details and preferences of our lives (about what to do next, where to go next) matter less and just opening up the heart matters more.

What to do?.....just sense and follow the pull of the urge to awaken.
                ......just feel gratitude: all of my gratitude Lord, that I am drawn to the threshold of your garden.

is the guidance system activated?

The pull, the attraction to awakening to and through You-the-Beloved activates our inner guidance system. This gives inner direction and a feeling of “on track-ness,"  expressing a deep intuition. It then becomes more a question of maintaining that heart-knowingness rather than hearing or seeing inner messages or messengers----- more a matter of which actions increase or decrease this "heart-track" state.

The awakening process uses whatever clusters of our experiences that most need to be worked through. Watching this play out on the map of illusion can seem confusing and aimless, while the inner goal’s course-plotting is sure and serene.

cosmic machinery

What is the work of That One in the Buddha or Christ state? How does the timeless contact the time-bound? In order to re-tune the cosmic machinery a bargain is struck between That One and Illusion as a whole.....a kind of under-the-table agreement whereby the highest becomes one with the lowest, fully experiences life in the prison cell, and swallows the poison drink.

In exchange Illusion relinquishes dominion and loses its iron-fisted grip.....may we feel that release more and more.
