This Blog Re-viewed

The review can be read in its entirety at theweblogreview. It may also be of interest to read a short explanation of The Weblog Review's 1-5 rating system here. Insightful and useful points were brought up; the exchange has been quite helpful and hopefully will help clarify what this blogsite is about.

Now for a response to some points brought up. In a sense this review does not give a higher rating for reasons that appeal to me. The main criticism has to do with a lack of resource links and secondarily the anonymity issue. Actually both of these points directly relate to the purposes of this site. I realize that in terms of accepted norms in the blog-world these two areas, especially the links, are lacking. Without links there is less visibility, less contact, and less use of other resources the web has to offer.

And yet this leads directly to an underlying point this blog seeks to express..........that the awakening process is seamlessly built-in to who and what we are and that it is directly available to each of us with a minimum of outside information.

As far as addressing the issue of anonymity; again it comes down to not trying to document or base these writings on anyone's personal history, credentials, or affliliations....just letting what is written speak for and through itself to the inner touchstone of heart recognition and mind discrimination native to each.

IN SHORT, I would like communicated here is that awakening is inherent and active in us all and needs no further outside agency....to encourage the idea that we are prepared enough at this point in time to both fathom and participate in this process.

Back to the review-----I am sure there are different ways to express the goals described above. In terms of reaching more readers (read "traffic") there is very likely a downside to my approach. But, there could also be a longer term upside. We'll see; its an experiment. I will just add these are my views at present, and that the kind of feedback this review offers can help shape how better to express in the future.
